Under the support of the municipal committee and the government and the guidance of the board, Greatoo (Zhongde) Industry 4.0 Base was constructed rapidly and orderly. With the correct guidance of leaders, the scientific arrangement of the engineering departments, the hard work of workers, the constructed would be completed on time in 8 months. Correspondents saw numerous workers and noisy machine during the interview.

According to the introduction of the engineering department, the first state of the project included the construction of A building of research workshops, the southern B building, the northern main workshops, D workshops, J building of comprehensive workshops, F building of car park. The following was the detailed introduction.
1.With a structure of steel and concrete, 7 floors, automatic elevator from the base to the second floor, A building of research workshops has tall atrium, which has the functions of being visited and performed, working and making research.
2.With a structure of steel and concrete and four floors, the southern B building, northern workshops (attached to A building) were equipped with skylight to increase the light in the workshops. There were also zones of air conditioners and zones with lasting temperature and humid in the workshops.
3.D building was in single structure of steel. The ledges were 13.2 meters high and the tracks of the cranes were about 8 meters high.
4.With a structure of steel and concrete, J building of comprehensive workshops had four floors. (the second floor was not complete)
5.With a structure of steel and concrete in the base and the thin coating structure in the second floor, the car park at the second floor of F building showed a grand design.

6.The first stage of the project also included the construction of earthwork, roads, wall and gates so as to make the roads unblocked and the appearance beautiful, enable the company to arrange production and receive visitors.

The workers responsible for the engineering department said that in order to achieve the goal, the engineering department made an object of completing the body of the construction in 100 days, that is finishing the construction before the Spring Festival. Though we met a lot of difficulties during the construction, like typhoon and rainy days, we determined to finish the task in 240 days and overcome many difficulties. With reasonable organization and measures of working overtime, we have completed the construction of the body of the northern workshops of B building, the third floor of the southern workshops in B building, the sixth floor of the research workshops in A building and the body of D building. We will successfully achieve the goal of finishing the construction before the Spring Festival and lay a solid foundation to the successful construction in 240 days.
In recent years, the board made the strategy of “transforming and upgrading the company and achieving intelligent manufacturing”. The construction of Greatoo (Zhongde) industry 4.0 base indicated a successful step to achieve the strategy. By introducing the advanced technology of German OPS company and implementing the strategy of Israel SMC company, the company will build a research and production base of intelligent and automatic production line and provide a platform to show the leading research and application of the technology of industrial robots.
